What is Biofeedback?
Biofeedback is the process of gaining greater awareness of our physiological functions primarily using instruments that measure activity of human body systems. The main goal of Biofeedback is self-regulation of your body at a cellular level.
Our cells work together in our body to create a body in harmony. Stress produces erratic vibrations that lead to disharmony that can then lead to injury and disease. Stress begins to produce an alarm response in the body which will provoke symptoms. Stress can come from many sources including emotional issues, toxicity, trauma, deficiency, allergens, habits, heredity, and pathogens. Excess stress is the pathway to disease.
How does it work?
The type of Biofeedback performed by our technician is called Quantum Biofeedback by LIFE System.
Quantum Biofeedback is the assessment of the human energy field using a computerized system. This energy field is the point of creation for the body based on the vibrations within the field. All illness begins as an aberrant energy pattern in this field.
The LIFE System is a quantum biofeedback device that uses sophisticated software and wave generation to provide the body’s energy field with a corrected vibration that supports and stimulates the body’s own healing mechanisms to engage and create an environment of health.
Everything found in, on, under, and above the Universe has its own unique energy vibration.
Energy moves in pulses, like waves. How close together the waves are is called frequencies — how frequently the waves occur. This range of frequencies is called the electromagnetic spectrum.
WHAT CAN IT DO FOR YOU?
Identify areas of stress, re-educate muscles to let go of tension
May help to improve sleep and increase energy
May help balance the mind/body connection
May improve symptoms/responses for those suffering from autoimmune flareups
May improve asthma, chronic back pain, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, tension headaches, sports injuries, Rynauds syndrome, TMF, Diabetic glucose control, Insomnia, High blood pressure, & more
May improve athletic performance, endurance, decision making, emotional regulation, attention regulation
May alleviate symptoms of PTSD, depression, chronic pain
Every human thought, emotion, and action has a unique vibrational energy pattern. Each cell in the body operates at a certain vibrational frequency.
An adult human has over 100 trillion cells — each one holds over 6 gigabytes of memory.
Together these frequencies form an energy pattern unique to each individual. It is your personal distinctive “thumbprint” or “address” in the universe.
Biofeedback
Mayo Clinic
Biofeedback is a technique you can use to learn to control some of your body's functions, such as your heart rate. During biofeedback, you're connected to electrical sensors that help you receive information about your body.
This feedback helps you make subtle changes in your body, such as relaxing certain muscles, to achieve the results you want, such as reducing pain. In essence, biofeedback gives you the ability to practice new ways to control your body, often to improve a health condition or physical performance.
Biofeedback
Harvard Health
Biofeedback tries to teach you to control automatic body functions such as heart rate, muscle tension, breathing, perspiration, skin temperature, blood pressure and even brain waves. By learning to control these functions, you may be able to improve your medical condition, relieve chronic pain, reduce stress, or improve your physical or mental performance (sometimes called peak performance training).
Biofeedback in medicine: who, when, why, and how?
PubMed Central
Biofeedback is a mind–body technique in which individuals learn how to modify their physiology for the purpose of improving physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Much like physical therapy, biofeedback training requires active participation on the part of patients and often regular practice between training sessions. Clinical biofeedback may be used to manage disease symptoms as well as to improve overall health and wellness through stress management training. Research has shown that biofeedback interventions are efficacious in treating a variety of medical conditions, and many Americans are turning to biofeedback and other less traditional therapies for their routine healthcare.
